I left Belfast in 1979 for Montana where I've spent most of my years since then. I finished nursing school in 1983, and got married soon after to Jamie. We joined the Peace Corps and spent 2 years in Africa before settling down to have kids. We did some bopping around for a while when the kids were young- Colorado, Ohio, and Maine. But in 1994 fate brought us back to Montana, and we have been in Helena ever since. I've worked since 1994 at the local hospital where my time is pretty evenly split between the hospice department and the wellness department (go figure!). I've been lucky to get back to Maine every year to see my family and dip my toes into the ocean- life is good. |
